I would have liked to see more contrast in this painting, especially in the green bush. It would have helped pop out some of the highlights. As an artist, it’s just my personal opinion.

HAHA! That is totally how it is! I usually try and distract myself every 2 hours for about half an hour-I find it keeps me interested for longer.

i usually do more Modern work, but I agree with him about taking a break mid way through your work…there have been times that I was painting at 3:00 AM and thought I was doing well, until I woke up the next day and said “what the hell is that?” always take a break.
