When I was a little kid my mother told me not to stare into the sun. So once when I was six, I did. The doctors didn’t know if my eyes would ever heal. I was terrified. Alone in that darkness. Slowly daylight crept in through the bandages and I could see. Something else had changed in me.

It made me laugh, as every photo of me as a child I have always got my eyes either closed, very squinted, or red. Due to my mum insisting on having me face directly towards the sun, look up at her “and thus the sun” for about thirty seconds while she looked through the viewfinder. Often I would swear after a minute as she waited for me “and told me to” stop squinting and storm off with a white dot burned into my retina for hours. She insists this is necessary to avoid “dark photos”

Having said that, I used the audio of this video to go to sleep one of those difficult nights and it worked. So, THANK YOU! Who knew that his tips might be helpful in other areas other than photography.

You can use a regular umbrella and buy a halogen light. It is very very cheap.. You can put them as side lights (both sides) then it will make yuour photos very soft. Trust me.. you can do it on a VERY low budget and get amazingly sexy photos. :)

Boring! Talk, talk, talking….he should have shown some sample of what he’s talking about. So lame. I just wasted my time watching this boring crap.
