www.dombower.com In this video i show you the cool quick time video effect you can have with the panoramic software called ptgui (yes you can do this kind of effect with other lenses not just my fish eye but you may need to take more photos) you can also do this with images that are not full 360degree. dom bower www.dombower.com

    read the description

So do you need a fisheye lens like in the video? or is that just more convenient???
lol thanks i tried it in photoshop and yeah your right.

  5. 666haloinc666 says:

Photomatix is only for HDR, and photoshop can stitch panoramas, but not make an interactive one like this.

  6. IntensePizza says:

Could you do this in Phtoshop or photomatics?

  7. dombower says:

it might but you would need a special head for the tripd. try it on landscapes first and you will see it work fine, but the 18mm isnot that brill

  8. trongs01 says:

i thad a go at this at the widest focal length of the widest lens i have which is 18mm. the resulting photo doesnt align together very well. are there tricks behind this? will a tripod help?
    thanks

Thanks,,,,,perfect timing. My interest in panorama shots has recently been peaked by a guy on flickr called ‘gbatistini’. He has done some very impressive cityscape panoramas. Check him out!

You are a very good man ,Thanks , I like you ^_^

  12. dombower says:

depends, i did some panoramas in the lakedistrict hand held but the view was easily over a km away, i imagin you can do it hand heald pretty easy but need tripod stuff if you are doing slightly longer exposures or close up panormaics like of streets etc

  13. timmyguy13 says:

To do a regular panorama with this software do they have to be perfectly shot so that they match up, like with a tripod? Or could you just do it freehand??

  14. timmyguy13 says:

    nevermind, i found it

  15. timmyguy13 says:

Ohh okay cool.. where can i find the software??

  16. dombower says:

    check the more info description.

no you dont but in tight situations like this room it helps, i have done panoramas of mountains with a 50mm but to get a full 360 image would take hundreds of photos. any wide angle would work

  17. timmyguy13 says:

Do you have to use a fisheye?

  18. gryphons3 says:

    homo sausage – lol

  19. lopezae33 says:

that was cool. have you ever used qtpfsgui for hdr its free software. can you do a video on that?? my final comment is, only you would start a video with a picture of homo sausage!!!!
