Hi Dom,
I’ve got a problem about facing the flash.
I alway close my eyes while the flash flash even i am not look at the flash but the lens. Is there any solution?

@rocklobster2112 wow!
So, the Halloween Party shoot went great. It ended up unknowingly being a posterity shoot. The landmark area, privately owned restaurant burned down a week later. Got some great photos and learned a lot from you. Thanks. The whole ordeal is very sad and I’m glad I got to get those pics taken.
Flash in your mouth! Only you, Dom. That was brilliant. Thanks for these videos! I’m doing Halloween Portraits at a Halloween party tonight and you’re helping me a lot. Thanks from the Great Northwest of USA.
thanks dude, this was a big help. where can you get umbrellas for a good price?
Hi Linezero3! The reason to buy a D300 is not important at all. The important thing is to get one! That camera absolutely rocks and is great bang-for-the-buck!
I have one since two months and it takes photography to a different level. To get something marginally better than the D300 you have to spend multiples of the amount you spend on the D300 only to see the difference under the microscope.
I recommend the D300 without any doubt and don’t forget to get the battery grip!
you r quit funnnny
:D
Im buying the D300 becuz of you!!!
nice big man !
Hi , the on camera flash does’nt contribute to the lighting as it sends out a tiny pulse of flash that is’nt noticable to the finished picture .Make sure when you set the commander mode in your camera settings that you have the built in flash set to — on the screen .Hope this helps.
Great video, i had a question about using the flash off camera. The only way i can get my flash to work as a slave is to get it triggered by the flash on my camera which messes up my direction of light im looking for, how can i improve this or make it work? Is my only option taping paper to the built in flash to direct it towards the external flash and away from my subject? Thanks.
LOL with the flash in your mouth
Thanks for the great visual tips!
Thanx again Dom!
best way to find out what settings is to take a photo look at it and change some settings. if you want the flash to be stronger change that setting, if you want the depth of field to be shallower lower the Fnumber shoot again and adjust the flash. thats the point of manual you have to do it to find out.
Another cool video Dom, really help’s alot.
Thank’s.
you need a remote trigger in your brain, well, maybe any photographer would like that feature
hey dom, great video as always. i just got into flash photography and i was wondering when you would use the manual mode and not the ttl and how would you know what settings to use on the manual mode?
thanks
Dom
Great video.
