very helpful and easy to understand!
Thanks for the info. You are extremely thoughtful and helpful.
Wow. Really really helpful video.
Thanks!
Hi, I’m just getting into building a cheap strobist kit…just wondering, should I buy 2 shoot through umbrellas, 2 reflective, of one of each? (For two seperate flashes) And also, what type are you using in the vid?
good to hear it.
Thanks a lot Dom.. I really learned from you
i just pre-focused and stood in the same place each time…. whoohoo 60 pounds saved!
So you don’t have focus problems going back and forth using the set timer? I always had issues while trying to take self portraits and whatever focusing. My images would always be blurry.
wireless remote?.. havent found an instance where i have needed it.
the only way i would buy one is if i was doing a lot of star photography so with the d300 i can do bulb function.
dombower…may I suggest something? Have you thought about getting a wireless remote for your D300? I’ve got the TWIN1 R3-UT remote. Works wonders. $59 U.S. dollars. By the way love your videos.
I gotta get my a flash and umbrella.
realy isnt any comparison. an umbrella is really handy, but i will try and make a video this week.
i would highly recommend spending the cash on an umbrella
I’d like to see that too. I’ve been debating on getting an umbrella setup to play with but I’m not sure it would make any difference.
good thinking.,ill do that next
it’d be nice if u’d compared it to bounce flash with the ceiling.
your videos are very helpfull
